Ingredients for porridge:

  • Apple Fuji- 1 medium sized
  • White/Brown rice- 1 tablespoon
  • Water for cooking
  • Full cream Milk- 1 cup
  • Honey- 2 teaspoons
  • Almonds- 2 (optional)

How to prepare this?

  1. First cut the apple into four pieces and pressure cook; apple, rice, almonds and a cup of water.
  2. Pressure cook for a whistles and remove the ingredients in a cooking pan.
  3. Put milk into it and cook till it thickens and gets little broken, so that the baby easily gulp it.
  4. Turn off the flame and put honey and ix well.
  5. After it gets cool, feed it to the baby.

Tips to be remembered:

  • You can use the things as per your porridge quantity. Like you can increase the quantity of rice and apple if you want to make more.
  • You can serve it as the lunch or for evening snack after they woke up.
  • You can also pressure cook with milk, after the apple is not a bit sour.
  • For the sweetness honey as well as jaggery can also be used. Don’t prefer sugar for babies, as it can harm their systems.
